The purpose of this group is to create and write in response to creative writing prompts.

Creating Prompts
-Anyone is welcome to create a new discussion with a new prompt!
-Post your prompt under the "Writing Prompts" folder.
-If you are taking the prompt from another source, give credit where credit is due.
-Post a short description of your prompt in the topic line. At least include the genre/style.
-All forms of writing are welcome (i.e.: Creative fiction, poetry, historical fiction, etc)

Responding to Prompts
-Anyone can post their original response to the given prompt within the discussion.
-Roleplays and personal conversations are forbidden in Prompt discussions. They will have their own folder.
-If the creator of the prompt wishes to close their discussion, they can either message me or change the topic to read "closed" and I will achieve it for them.
-I retain the right to close any prompt for any reason at any time.

Writing Exercises
-Follow the same rules for exercises as you do prompts.
-In the topic line, state what area of writing the exercise will improve (i.e. character development, editing, plot development)

Role-plays
-Some prompts may inspire a role-play.
-Please limit the role-plays in this group to those inspired by writings from posts within the group.
-If you wish to create a role-play based off your own prompt/exercise response, you can create new discussion under the "Role-Play" folder at any time.
-If you were inspired to role-lay based off of someone else's response, you must obtain their permission before beginning the role-play. You must credit them in the first post of the role-play.
