Simply because Tyrion is ugly looking and doesn't have a blind faith in Cersei, had Tyrion followed every order Cersei ever gave OR if he was smart looking and could fuck Cersei, that would bring Tyrion to Cersei's good books.

Sometimes Jaime sounds more like an old man, rather than one who's lost his hand. I've said it before, but I think having it cut off made him wiser.

What was that with Loras and the book for? It sounded pretty random and out of place, but Martin does nothing random and out of place. And they ended with the Kingsmaker, that must mean something. Only I don't know what.
