All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

My book club is on a 'book-to-movie' binge. We just did 'Divergent'; next is 'Fault in our stars' and then 'The Giver'(one of my all-time favorite books).


AND....wouldn't you love to see "Garden spells" made into a movie!?!?

Absolutely Karen I think it would be a great movie! At the same time though, I'd be worried - what if they didn't get it quite right

I am halfway though "The Witch of BellaDonna Bay" by Suzanne Palmieri. So far I am loving it!

Just finished "In Shadows of Blackbirds" (Cat WInters)...which was very good! "Of Neptune" by Anna Banks is next.

My summer reading list is HUGE! Right now I'm reading Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige. Some other books on my list are:
One For The Money by Janet Evanovich
Death of a Neighborhood Witch by Laura Levine
The Casual Vacancy by J K Rowling

Just now reading Lost Lake. What do I need to read after this. Looking for something similar. I read the Mulberry Tree Which turned out to be a great book!

Gone Girl, The Witch of Belladonna Bay (excellent so far!), A Thousand Splendid Sun's.

I truly enjoyed the book, The Good Luck Girls of Shipwreck Lane by Kelly Harms. Has that magical realism element, and the importance of place. Great summer read!
