Rachel 14. Dracula by Bram Stoker October 26th

Most appropriately for October, I thought, and I've always wanted to read this. It's quite good so far. Most spooky ;)!

Very gory too I think. Do you think so also?

Maybe it's because I just read a zombie trilogy, but this doesn't seem that gory to me, but definitely very creepy.

I read Dracula a few years ago for Halloween. I enjoyed it (despite the gore...). Found the diary format a little difficult to get into, but got over that. If you like that book, I believe the Stoker Estate OKed a "sequel" by great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker, Dacre. It got a 3.11, but I did not think it was so bad.

Awesome job Rachel! I think for 2017 I'm going to focus on this challenge instead of the ABC Challenge. Although I love that one I find it hard to focus on two challenges and do well with both.

Yeah, I hear ya'. I am sometimes so caught up with challenges that I can't keep track of all of them. What I love about this one is that I am actually beginning to see my bookshelf again--the piles of books were getting a bit high ;).
I would love to do this again in 2017.
