My all time favorite from the Top 100 List, like I mentioned before, is Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper. It is such a sweet story about a girl struggling with Cerebral Palsy, and her fight to overcome the condition she has. It is similar to the book Wonder (another one of my favorites), if you have read that book before.

Another book that stuck out to me on the list was: Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. I read it in elementary school with my class, and it made me (and most of my classmates) cry. It was so sad, but really good. Warning: if you have a really soft spot for animals, you may not want to read this book.

From the limited number of books that I have read from the list my favourite is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I also really enjoyed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I read both of these books as a child so I might have a different opinion if I read these as an adult. I have enjoyed all 7 books that I have read from the list. As I read more of the books my favourites may change.

Jason (jase3gt) | 70 comments There are a couple of these I really liked, especially when I was younger. The Hobbit is one of my all time favorites. Charlotte's Web I've read a few times too. Where the Red Fern Grows is really good too, just sad. I last read it 13 years ago when we first got our Bloodhound, who we just had to have put to sleep yesterday. So that one will be hard to read again with my daughter. I used to love Judy Blume books when I was kid but I can't remember if I read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. I really like Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH too. Harry Potter was great. I loved Calvin and Hobbes. There are a few on here that I'm really looking forward to reading too, like The Graveyard Book.

Sorry about your dog. I had to put my older dog to sleep in November last year and I still miss her.

I loved Judy Blume as a kid too. I think I read most of her books but I can't remember for sure. As a side goal I also want to go back and read her books again.

Terris | 179 comments I loved "Pippi Longstocking" as a child. Recently I read and loved "Anne of Green Gables" and "The Phantom Tollbooth." And as someone mentioned above -- I absolutely adored "Out of My Mind"!

It sounds like I need to read "Out of My Mind" sooner rather than later. I really want to read "Anne of Green Gables" too but as it's a series and I think I will want to continue reading the rest, I'm waiting until I have read some of the other Top 100 books.

You are an Anne of Green Gables fan?! And Out Of my Mind too! We need to talk :) Who's your favorite character in Anne of Green Gables? And have you only read the first book?

I have read the first two books and, of course, I love Anne, but I really liked Matthew Cuthbert in the first book & how much he loved Anne & how she changed his life.
I really need to read the next book. My mom read all the books last year and absolutely loved them. We refer to Anne in our conversations every once in awhile ;)

I have read the first two books in the Anne series, and I am actually planning on reading the third book in the next few weeks!

I put both of them on my to-read list just now. I have heard of both, but for some reason I have never read them.
