Did you believe Jarvis when he said he didn't have Gabrielle killed?

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments Oddly enough, yes. He wouldn't consider it necessary to lie since he could confess outright and still feel very confident that nothing could be done about it.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 7669 comments Mod
I did, too. Even though Hero stated she couldn't tell when he was lying, I think she'd have a gut instinct.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I have a hard time believing anything Jarvis says, and I can't get a feel for how much Hero knows about details in her dad's life. I would surely hope he wouldn't kill her very good friend, but expediency and perpetuation of the monarchy were what seem to have driven him more than any familial cares.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Ironically, I don't think Jarvis would ever lie to Hero. He admires and respects her too much.

Oh, I have absolutely no doubt that Jarvis would have killed her if it has been necessary.

I did too..especially when Hero believed it too. Hero and Jarvis know each other so well.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Hero and Jarivs have a very interesting dynamic for a father/daughter and especially considering the time period. They seem to have a mutual respect but also an awareness of each others true natures.

So true, Lauren.

Joanna | 139 comments Yes. I don't see him wasting the time or energy to have someone killed for such a small reason. But isn't it interesting that so far all the people who have caused him problems seem to get murdered by someone else's hand?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments Interesting observation, Joanna.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments Maybe he really IS pulling the strings in the background, lol. Just kidding.
