C.Y. Gopinath (cygopi) | 2 comments Hoyt's War is set in the USA, and is about America's descent into an idiocracy under a Trump-like president called Barry Codbag. It will make you laugh, squirm, and feel unsettle. Trump is actually a lot like Codbag.

But I've never lived in the American places I describe in detail in my story — the Tribeca district in New York, Miami, the Everglades, the town of Gibsonton, the plantation of Shongaloo. I spent weeks exploring these settings using Google Maps Street View.

I would be very interested to hear from readers how well I've succeeded.

I have put together excerpts from my book that describe settings in America, and will be happy to mail it as a pdf to anyone interested in a look.

You can read an interview with me about the book here ‚ http://conversationswithwriters.blogs...

And this, apparently, is what Donald Trump thinks about me. www.washingtonpssst.com
