Teri Dluznieski (horsewisevt) | 19 comments hi,

I am looking for reviews for an epic fantasy (young adult) short story, approx 40 pages.

When the Wind Calls
blurb When the Wind Calls (Chanmyr Chronicles Companion Story Book 1) by TJ Muir

At 19, Kijah feels like she's outgrowing her family's small urban farm. She also has questions about her real father, a Faenyr man her mother won’t talk about. Growing up in Treyu, at least, being half-blooded is common. But she just doesn't feel like she fits.

Then Zria walks into her life. A golden-fair Faenyr boy, a mirror to her own exotic looks. Everything she thought was turned upside down. Now she wonders about magic, and the nature of true power, as they explore each other’s worlds. She is swept up in newfound love that brings a whirlwind of change. For the first time in her life, she feels connected to herself, to Zria, and the world around her.

She knows it is all because of Zria: magic and charming and completely foreign. In a very short time, he has become her whole world. She feels so connected to Zria, that she forgets that he is truly Faenyr, in a way that she is not. What will she do when she realizes they may be less alike than she thought?

Kimberly Jayne | 4 comments Hi there, I'm interested in getting a review from someone who would enjoy reading a genre-busting romantic comedy. I can send you a gift copy electronically from Amazon if you're interested, you can email me at readkimberlyjayne@gmail.com with your email info. Here's the synopsis:

Take My Husband, Please!
By Kimberly Jayne

If you could teach your ex-husband a lesson, would you?

After Sophie files for divorce from Will, his unexpected financial apocalypse brings him back under her roof. Awkward! And if that’s not bad enough, Sophie’s new guy—a sexy and successful entrepreneur—is not keen on dating her without proof that Will is truly out of the picture. Sophie and her best friend concoct a brilliant bet to keep Will “occupied,” but things take a surprise turn for the crazy when Sophie gets roped into sending her ex on five blind dates!

You'll laugh, you'll cry. You might even want to Take My Husband, Please!

Ian Mitchell-Gill | 6 comments Hello from Canada! I have just published my first novel and I'm looking for a review. Here is the book:
Merrett's Gift
Merrett's Gift by Ian Mitchell Gill

It's a fun read, but what I'm most proud of is the strong female lead. I never set out to do that, but she just dominated every situation. She's fun to write! Here is the synopsis:
"When six “criminally gifted” teens are caught misapplying their talents, each is given an offer they can’t refuse: to train at a secret school and put their skills to work for their country, or face the most severe consequences for their crimes.
The kids arrive at the Brockmann School of Excellence full of resentment and suspicion, and their first impressions of the place only confirm their fears. Then they meet Mr. Merrett—the teacher who changes everything. Suddenly life is a lot more interesting! Challenged in ways they never imagined, the teens slowly begin to meld into a team capable of more than even their trainers realize.
A fun, suspenseful roller-coaster ride of a story, Merrett’s Gift follows the adventures of a group of teens hell-bent on living life on their own terms, and the mysterious teacher who makes it possible. But who is he, really? And why is he so secretive about his past?
Class is in session! Enjoy—but keep an eye on your valuables. And your passcodes. And your car . . ."

I just want people to enjoy the novel. Make sure you have tissues handy for the epilogue...seriously! Looking forward to connecting with people and discussing my books and others. Great group, thanks for having me!

Ian

Conflicts of the Universe: Earth at War On amazon

About the book:

A Sci-Fi novel about an alien species invading earth with superior technology. It is only 340 pages so it won’t be a bulky Harry Potter novel. All emotions we face in life are touched on in the book. Death of a loved one, romance, Hope, hopelessness is just a few emotions covered. The book starts slow on purpose to introduce the main characters. I show growth in all of the characters as the book progresses. The action scenes pick up nearly mid-way through the book and continue to the end. Historical events are touched on such as the holocaust. Other issues are mentioned such as alien conspiracies. The book has many genres included. Sci-Fi is the main with Fantasy and military being the other two genres. This Sci-Fi novel is set on Earth in a portrayal of what fighting could look like in real life. I leave unanswered questions on purpose. I set up some plots throughout the book that will be explained in the second book.

The book has good messages in it about humanity needing to come together.

I have a PDF version available if you don’t want to wait for the Kindle promotion.

Start Again Start Again by J. Saman

Synopsis:
Kate had the perfect life. No one could ever deny that. That is until an accident took everything she had away. For two years she has been living moment to moment and day to day. She's lost and can't seem to find her way back. Finally, in a last ditch effort, she decides to leave town in search of a fresh start. Her plan? Drive around the country until she finds a place she wants to live. Kate reluctantly gets talked into taking Ryan Grant - a family friend who she has no recollection of meeting - along for the ride. Ryan is amazing, the perfect friend and they hit it off instantly. Doesn't hurt that they have smoldering chemistry. The drive across the country proves to be just what Kate needed.
Ryan is stuck in limbo, floating through life with work as his only focus. Probably because he's been betrayed a time or two by the people he thought he could trust. Needing a change, he plans on moving his company west to Seattle. There is just one big problem. He doesn't fly. So when a girl from his past offers to drive him across the country, how could he say no? Katie is his dream girl after all. Always has been. Resisting her becomes harder and harder, though he knows he has to try.
Kate and Ryan are both looking to start again, maybe even with each other.
Can they get past their road blocks to make it happen?

Adele Rose (adelerose) | 7 comments Hi,

I'm really interested in getting reviews for my recent published ebooks. Book One is called 'Awakening' and book two is called 'Possession'. Both novels are part of a series called 'The VIth Element Series' and you can find them on Amazon.

Here is the synopsis for Book One:

‘One person on their own may be able to save the world. But a team of friends, all working together, have a much greater chance of succeeding…providing that no-one succumbs to evil.’

Alex's Checklist:

Being targeted by a 'tangoed' PSYCHOPATH: CHECK!
Having a relationship life that currently SUCKS: CHECK!
Experiencing an 'AWAKENING': CHECK! Wait...what?

Before Alexandra Raven’s ‘AWAKENING’, her life could be summed up in one word – repetitive. Then, BOOM! In a pivotal moment, Alex finds out that she can control the element of water – something that she once thought was fictional and can’t believe her luck. However, is this gift a blessing or a curse? Alex is required to leave her old life behind, including her family and David - the boy who promised to stick by her no matter what and her best friend since she was five. What’s more, danger lurks in another dimension. This danger can only be destroyed through loyalty, perseverance and friendship and will turn Alex’s life, in more ways than one, upside down...

DIVE INTO A WORLD FULL OF FRIENDSHIP, DANGER, LOVE AND BETRAYAL...

Mark Brennan | 1 comments Hi all --

My latest book THIS MADE ME THINK OF YOU: a modern day breakup story is currently out and I would love to share a gratis e-reader copy for anyone who would like to review it. Here is a description of the book:

Max and Gretchen have just broken up after a tumultuous ten year relationship filled with several unique highs and devastating lows. Max, a recovering alcoholic and writer by trade, begins emailing Gretchen the day after they break up regaling her with stories of their past that made him think of her in an attempt to win her back, all the while ignoring Gretchen's request for space. Max can't seem to get himself together, while Gretchen flourishes with a new job, an active social life and supportive friends. Through a series of first person exchanges between Max and Gretchen that include emails, texts, Facebook updates and tweets that take place over the course of a year, the heart of their relationship comes to light and the reasons why they fell in love and the heartbreaking circumstances that led to their demise become devastatingly clear. As Max begins to pick up the pieces of his shattered life and once again finds his self-confidence and strength, Gretchen begins to sort through her past and begins rethinking some of the decisions she made regarding her relationship with Max. In an era where person-to-person conversations and talking over the phone have become a thing of the past, "This Made Me Think of You" is an honest look at how being so connected to each other, through so many different mediums, can lead to misunderstandings and at times lead us to give up the people we love most in the world.

Please shoot me a message or email me at: markbrosenberg@gmail.com for a copy.

Thanks!

Hi Asterios, I am the author of a historical suspense novel, The Other Side of Him. Briefly:
Inspired by true events this story is about Claire, raised in the Chicago tenements in the 50's and eager to escape her humble and dangerous surroundings. Her ticket to get out of the projects is to win a scholarship to college in California. She achieves her dreams, and even meets a man on a blind date, handsome and rich, who introduces her to a life she'd only seen in the movies. In time she learns he is also deeply flawed and attempts to break up with him. However he is not ready to let go of her and becomes her stalker, a situation in which her very life is threatened. In a time before society had any institutions set up to help victims of abuse, Claire must find her own solution to escape the danger she faces.

My book has recently won a 2016 IPPY Bronze Medal for Fiction.

They look and act like people she grew up with but she quickly finds she is the one who is different. She is the hidden heir to the throne and the Faeries need her to come home and save them from the Trolls. If it wasn’t difficult enough for Jessa to move to a different world, she has to marry the man who saved her from the Trolls when all she wants to do is run to his best friend, Micha. With so much to worry about, how can she keep the Faery realm from falling into the hands of the evil Trolls and the Ancients?

Shashi | 19 comments Over a period of some years, I have been writing reviews of new authors at my blog which has more than Half Million hits and read by 700+ readers every day. Initially I reviewed most of my friend’s book but now I would like to do so more comprehensively, in order to help new authors to reach out to their target audience.

Hence I started a regular feature at my blog “Shadow Dancing With Mind“, displayed at the top right corner of my blog as SPOT LIGHT to promote new authors and help them to reach their target audience.

It is for FREE as well as I plan to BUY each of the books I review and post the same at Amazon Reviews and at all my social media platforms. But I intend to be very selective about the books I going to review and very HONEST about it.

Hi Shashi,

My name is Mary Feliciani and I am an author and publisher of children's books. I was wondering if you would be interested in reviewing any of my books.

I have three book titles:

Big and Small in the Mirror is about bullying that happens in the school environment. The two main characters, Carlo and Marco, learn the effects of bullying on their self-images and how positive relationships help them grow. The book is appropriate for children between 8-10 years old.

I provide discussion questions at the end of the book to help parents and teachers facilitate a discussion about bullying, and to put the story in perspective.

The Magic Leaf is about a small-town boy who learns the value of friendship. A medieval, Italian town named Roseto serves as the backdrop. The beautiful and colourful illustrations – all done in paper collage style – depict different parts of the town and journey. Although the story unfolds in a different time and place, the message is universal and timeless. The appropriate reading age would be 6-8.

Humanitarians, Visionaries, Heroes, and You is a collection of seven inspiring mini-biographies and my own reflections, intended to encourage the reader to join a growing movement towards social responsibility and global citizenship. This book is for an older audience (10 – 12+).

My books are sold on Amazon and iBooks Store (iTunes).

Thank you for your time.

Warm regards,
Mary

Alice (goodreadscomalicerene) | 23 comments Hi Everyone! I've just received the announcement late yesterday that my romantic/suspense novel, The Other Side of Him, was a Finalist in the 5th Annual Beverly Hills international Book Awards contest in the Suspense category. www.beverlyhillsbookawards.com
It's the book's second award along with an IPPY earlier this year. I'm excited! The Other Side of Him

And I'm looking for more reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. It's available in any format you choose. If interested, please message me or email me: alicerene1@aolcom

Barnaby Hazen | 3 comments Dear Reviewers/Bloggers: I am always looking for reviews for my first work of fiction, Seven Eleven Forgotten and Other Stories: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

It's a strange collection, definitely not for everyone. The reviews themselves may offer a hint as to whether it is something you would enjoy. Feel free to be in touch if you have questions.

Much thanks--Barnaby: editor@sevenelevenstories.com
