Welcome to our Awesome August Challenge! As we read this month, let's look at the list of tasks below and see how many we can complete!

Rules:

#1. You need to complete three of the five categories listed below to finish this challenge. One read = one book per category.
#2. List (and LINK) all the books you plan to read for the challenge.
#3. Upon completion of a book, rate it and update your progress.
#4. Don't forget our minimum of 125 pages - full guidelines HERE
#5. Minimum of one Australian Author.

SUGGESTION: Copy and paste this list in your post and link your book choices next to each category...

Categories

1). August
is brought to you by the letter ‘A’: Read a book by an author whose first name or surname begins with the letter ‘A’. Alternatively read a book where the title starts with the letter ‘A’.
2). August Historical Fact: August 1st 1944 - Anne Frank penned her last entry into her diary. Read a book which is set during the second world war - fiction or non fiction.
3). Cover Hunt: August 7th is Purple Heart Day! Read a novel in which the cover is at least 50% purple!
4). Books about Books: August 9th is National Booklovers Day! Read a book about books!
5). Reader’s Choice: Read any book of your choice.

Some suggestions to help you choose!

Books about Books
The Colour Purple (a word of caution - a lot of these don't show much purple - it needs to be min. 50%)
World War II Fiction
World War II Non Fiction
