(And I might be misinterpreting, but I'm glad I'm not the only one.) ;)
Yes, you're both totally right. StarMan had an idea that he shared with me, and I agree. I don't think I was thinking clearly when I posted this one. Please forgive my oversight...in my rush to put something out there, I didn't think it through. Let's proceed with your idea, Elise...
Hey, guys...if you see anything that doesn't make sense or needs to be tweaked, please speak up like you've been doing! Sometimes I exhaust my poor brain trying to think of ideas. In putting material out there too quickly, I forget to explain myself clearly...thanks so much for pointing out my errors! Signing off for tonight; no coffee (trying to be good for a change) has really thrown me for a loop...as my messages tonight demonstrate! LOL

Alright, I'll go with Dog (the last search word mentioned)...
The Dog Who Spoke with Gods
Next word: Coffee

Strange Days
Now, as allowed per the rules, I'm going to give a "concept" instead of a single word. Just name any book that fits:
Next

next concept: a book about friendship"
(that looks like a fun book... one reviewer said it made her wish she was a shoe salesperson!)
StarMan wrote: "Allison wrote: "Rules of the Road

I read it several years ago...probably should re-read it at some point.

The Ship Who Sang
Hee hee, I slipped a starship in, cuz I'm a sci-fi nerd.
NEXT: a book with the word "purple" or "lavender" in the title

Purple:

Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People
My god, does that sound enthralling - I think I need to add that to my tbr.
Next: a book with a ghost as a character

Blood Song
(at least 2 ghosts here)
NEXT: a book where the story is set in a land down under
(Australia and/or New Zealand)

Next: a book that makes the reader sympathize with a criminal

Dead Man Walking: The Eyewitness Account of the Death Penalty That Sparked a National Debate
This book was so emotional for me. I cried; not the kind where tears silently fall, but pure blubbering. My husband had to hold me when I was done. I can't really say what triggered that in me, but I can tell you I was sad for the victim and their family and for the man who was put to death.

I read this book so many years ago but I remember it being a special read. I should read it again sometime.
