YA and Beyond discussion

Either setting you love and want more books With or settings you havent seen yet but want to.
My list:
- Atlantis
- el dorado
- India
- Australia
- cuba
I love atlantis the Disney Movie and the myth so more books based there would be so cool. Ditto dreamworks eldorado.
The others are just great Places.

The middle east
Sweden (Loved Girl with the Dragon Tattoo)
Antarctica (The Thing = awesome)
Stars (Blue Giants, black holes etc. Can't get enough of them)
Africa

I agree with Sweden and also love almost every YA book I have read by an Aussie writer so I second Australia as well :)

I agree with Atlantis, Oda!

- eastern Europe
- South America (Peru, etc)
- the Mediterranean
- more Tortall books, c'mon Tamora Pierce
- more awesome high fantasy worlds!

I will make 2 lists: Realistic and Fantasy.

Realistic
1. Paris (can never get enough of it!)
2. Prague
3. Vienna. I don't know of any YA books that take place in Vienna. Always been in love with that city, and would love a story done there!
4. Hawaii
5. Savannah, GA.

Fantasy
Harry Potter World (getting my wish!)
Camelot
The Lunar Chronicles World
Girl of Fire and Thorns World
Septimus Heap's World

Venice is cool! Love Italy :) But, no , I was looking for Vienna, Austria.

Austria looks beautiful - always reminds me of the Sound of Music!

ODA: I agree with the Atlantis setting. I would enjoy a book with that type of setting.

I actually want more books set in the HP world, obviously. I would also like to read more of the Vikings era in YA novels.
