Jackie | 82 comments Our August poll is closed and this month we are challenging you to read the lowest rated book on your to-read-list. If the book was added to your list, there's got to be a reason, so go ahead and check out that book!

Remember that once you've finished your book(s) for the month, you're always welcome to start a discussion topic in the month's folder (which works best if there are others in the group who have read or are currently reading the book in question) or post your thoughts (or just drop a link to your review!) in the thread below.

And don't forget to vote on the poll for September's theme and the poll for October's theme is now open!

Anne | 68 comments I have a really long list but this one I've had a while. It's Reluctant Queen by Geraldine Evans. I thought it was a non-fiction which is why I haven't got round to reading it yet, but actually it is a novel! It's about Mary Rose Tudor, Sister of Henry VIII Reluctant Queen The Story of Henry VIII's Defiant Little Sister by Geraldine Evans

Jasmiina F (slipperbunny) Maybe I'll finally read The Point of Inconvenience, poetry from A.F. Harrold. It's a signed copy, but I haven't read any poetry from him yet. But I have read The Imaginary and it's one of the best children's books I have ever read.

Shomeret | 69 comments I had a choice of a bunch of books on my To Read shelf with zero ratings, but there were only two that were already published and didn't require me to purchase a paperback. Due to my budget constrictions and my preferences, I selected "Stagecoach" Mary Fields a biography of the first African American woman to be a mail carrier.

Jasmiina F (slipperbunny) I just finished The Point of Inconvenience, the only book in my tbr-pile that has 0 ratings. I gave it three stars, but there was only one poem that I really liked.
