Katharine Klevinskas I don't think it was answered in the novel.
I don't think Dr. S would have noticed that he showed up in the spring, or something. Doubt she often knew what day it was.
Reference to eggs? To resurrection?

Seems a strange name to me.


Megan M I agree, they don't seem to be following any kind of calendar, and since the date of Easter changes every year, how could Dr. Swenson have possibly known that the child arrived on Easter? Unless she had JUST been to Manaus and knew the holiday was about to happen.
