Rose Eddleton, returns to her grandparents home for a family get-together but instead finds herself in mourning at her grandmother's funeral. Strange things begin to happen at the household that endanger Rose and her family. The paranormal activities which were first interpreted to be the last message of the matriarch had suddenly taken a turn of downright violent and life threatening attacks.
What exactly could those secrets be that her grandmother was trying to hide? Whom could Rose trust if the keepers of those secrets are but family members who seem to stop at nothing to keep her from them? While Rose tries to understand why her grandmother's ghost has such deadly intentions, one can not help but wonder what is the secret of the forbidden door and the dominating empty wardrobe?
