Hi everyone,

I have a few questions for my fellow book bloggers. Have you ever had the urge to change your book blog name because it wasn't direct or clear?

My book blog's name is Novelties. I thought it was unique, so I went with it. But I fear that the name is too vague and not clear enough for readers.

What are your thoughts? Any help is appreciated.

I totally understand what your feeling. In fact, I'm planning to change up my blog now! I think that you should go through it. It's your blog, your website. If you think your blog's name is not clear enough, then try to come up with something that makes sense to you and your readers. No one will judge you except for yourself.

Thanks for the reply! My only concern is that I've recently started the blog, and I'm not sure if my other name suggestions are good. I came up with a few before I created my blog, then picked my current one, and I have also created a few more, but I find that solo brainstorming isn't helping (thus my post here).

I see some blogs with nothing tied to reading, so I wonder if I need to change the name at all. But the majority of blogs have something tied to books, etc.

I can go 50/50, so I'm at a crossroads that isn't helping. -_-

I'm still mulling over the name change; it's at the back of my mind. But if I market my site as a book blog (like your suggestion to change my icon into something literary), I hope I'll be fine. If not, I can always change the name. And I think I have one that may work!
