Signed, sealed, delivered…

While spacing out in chemistry class, Lily scribbles some of her favorite song lyrics onto her desk. The next day, she finds that someone has continued the lyrics on the desk and added a message to her. Intrigue!

Soon, Lily and her anonymous pen pal are exchanging full-on letters—sharing secrets, recommending bands, and opening up to each other. Lily realizes she’s kind of falling for this letter writer. Only, who is he? As Lily attempts to unravel the mystery and juggle school, friends, crushes, and her crazy family, she discovers that matters of the heart can’t always be spelled out…

Yay!! I'm so excited!! :D I might start this today instead of tomorrow....I just can't wait! :D

If I can find a copy I'll try to join you guys. I'm in the middle of two other books currently so I might be a tad late :)

Ugh. How did the days get away from me? I haven't even started yet... :/

Not sure if I'll make it because the library in town doesn't have it and neither do my three e-libraries but I have a few other places to check so I'll let keep my fingers crossed.

I'm up to Chapter 5.

I'm through the first 10 chapters, and so far, I don't like this book. Lily's hung up on Lucas, but we don't know much about him or the mysterious letter writer. I think I know who it is but probably won't know for sure until the end. The only person I like, so far, is Lily's dad. I wish he was in this book more than a few pages. Maybe he'll show up again later.

I'm up to Chapter 15.

I'm now through chapter 25, and I still don't like this book. There's not much happening; it's been a lot of letters. I'm glad Lucas is more involved in the story now. So far, I like him. I don't like Cade or David.

Chapter 3
(view spoiler)[ I'm just gong to take a stab at a prediction, and say that Cade is going to be the mystery guy she ends up writing with. He's been mentioned too many times in these three chapters, so he's got to be significant somehow (hide spoiler)]

Through chapter 32, and this book hasn't gotten any better, in my opinion. At least, Cade is a bit more likeable because the main character is not. She's really annoying me. I feel like she's getting dumber. Her plan is going to backfire.

Through chapter 40. I'm sad that (view spoiler)[Lucas (hide spoiler)] is out of the story. I actually liked him. There still isn't a whole lot going on. (view spoiler)[A snotty girl trying to prevent a relationship and the end of another relationship. (hide spoiler)] Also, (view spoiler)[the letters stopped (hide spoiler)]. That goes back to a previous statement.

I'm up to Chapter 40.


(view spoiler)[I really don't like Sasha. It's funny how Lily just gives up a chance with the guy she's been crushing on for 2 years. Still not a fan of Cade. My problem is that he is real in the letters but fake in real life. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Sadly I was not impressed with this book. Cade was fake but all of a sudden became real. I was a little surprised that the author had Lily all of a sudden drop a guy that she had been crushing on for 2 years. It doesn't happen like that. I just never really felt anything other than annoyance for the characters. Which is why it got a 2. (hide spoiler)]

Finished. I'm glad I'm done with this book. I knew the ending long before it happened. No one should be surprised she ended up with (view spoiler)[Cade (hide spoiler)]. Also, I knew that (view spoiler)[Wyatt broke her guitar (hide spoiler)].

Chapter 10
(view spoiler)[ Sometimes some of these chapters seem pointless. There have been a couple times where I've finished a chapter and I don't see how it contributed to the story whatsoever. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 11
(view spoiler)[ I think ti was really rude for Isabel to try to set Lily up with someone after she specifically said not to. If my friend did that I would be so mad. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 19
(view spoiler)[ I really do enjoy the letters between the two. I just think it's sad that Lily has found a better friend in this mystery person than she has in Isabel. I still say Cade is the one writing the other letters. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 21

I really want to get to this she is one of my favorite authors, but I haven't got the book yet, maybe I should go investigate that right now :-)

Up to chapter 9 - this is pretty fluffy so far, but nothing to write home about.

I don't know if I'm not on the mood for reading right now or if it's because of the story progress so far, but I'm finding it kinda boring.

Chapter 28 (view spoiler)[ Of course Cade would ask Sasha out. She was sitting on Lily's seat when Cade pulled his prank, so he thinks Sasha is his pen pal... Also, can we get the mystery of the guitar over?? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 21 (view spoiler)[It was so obvious it was Cade writing back to her. Now let's see what she'll do about it. He probably thinks the one writing to him is that girl who was in her seat.
Well, the book is funny sometimes, but I'm still not into it. (hide spoiler)]

Anyway, these last two chapters were really funny, and I'm finally starting to enjoy the book (though it's still super cliche). (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[It's still super cliche, but I honestly enjoyed reading the second half. It was funny and got me way more into the story. So Lily's impressions about Cade were only misunderstandings, and I kinda get why he acted the way he did about her. And it has a very sweet ending. (hide spoiler)]

Done (view spoiler)[Lily is a really funny girl.. Loved her dialogues with Cade both in person and letters. And I liked how both of them were silent about the identity of the other. Even if it was a cliché, it was done very nicely and with refreshing characters (hide spoiler)]
