PS. The first few chapters are kindof hard to get into....it's more like a preface than anything else.
Also, reading the Grisha Trilogy beforehand is not necessary.
Can you tell I'm excited to reread???

Yay! Me too. I have heard great things and bought it on audiobook months ago but have not gotten to it yet so this will move it up on my list!

I loved this book! Great depth of characters. I wasn't a fan of the Grisha, but this book really surprised me :)

OK. I had to stop to listen to my library audio book today so am barely even started so far but I will keep you updated :)

I am barely into this one (around 2 hours into the audio) and still trying to figure out the world and who is who but it is intriguing so far.

So glad you find it intriguing. The first few chapters in this one were rough for me....I think I'll tackle them today. :)

I am still a little lost so don't know what to think but am invested enough to try to figure out what is going on. It is encouraging that you told me to stick with it past the beginning so that helps :)

Oh my goodness.....I love this book. I don't know how Bardugo does it, but i'm enraptured by this world.
My favorite lines so far....
"I'm a businessman," he'd told her. "No more, no less."
"You're a thief, Kaz."
"Isn't that what I just said?"

So I sat down intending to read 1-3 chapters today, to pace myself. I made it to chapter 8. I don't know what it is, but this book sucks me in!

I got a little bit farther and am enjoying it so far

I have met 5 of the gang now (I am assuming there are six from the title) and am getting more into it. I really like the full cast audio so far too.

Nice! You know, if you like it, the sequel comes out next month. And even better, it's a duology. :)

I had to put this one on slow motion because I am also trying to re-listen to Harry Potter 6 before the Overdrive audio is due at my library. I have met all 6 of the main characters and learned some of their back stories and am very interested to see how this all pans out.

Glad you're liking it so far! I'm trying to pace myself....and keep picking up other books. But it constantly calls to me from the shelf. :)

Oh my I forgot to keep my progress up to date here. I think I have less than 3 hours left of the audio (13 hours total) and boy is this thing getting good. I am so nervous for the entire gang! Yes. So many players here with so many back stories and hidden agenda's! It could be easily confusing with all these characters but it isn't luckily.

I have about 1.5 hours left of the audio and I am super in love with this so far. I sure hope it stays that way!
