Periodicals without ISBNs but substantially similar to books (e.g., perfect-bound literary magazines), although they should be typed as "periodical" in the work: media type field.

It makes me confused. Some items of Muhammed Zafar Iqbal's profile are not 'the' book, neither published as ebook nor as hardcopy. But those are published in a newspaper's magazine (with other articles. Just think about Scientific American magazine) and in its opinion section. Moreover, later, those articles are also included in his several books (obviously with several other story/column Compilation). So, my question is, should those items be in GR database?

Magazine articles not published independently shouldn't be added. If they've been published as part of one of his books, they can be merged into those, anything left over that you can't delete yourself can be posted to the supers thread.
