I do understand your anger. "You know nothing Daenerys Stormborn". You would have been dead if it wasn't for Ned.
Poor Poor Dragons. What can you do?
I like Barristan's story. I would hang out with that dude.

I totally would too, I like him a lot.
On the show when he got mad and dropped his equipment on the floor in front of the king Joffrey I was like "Yeah!"

Why did she randomly stop the conversation with Selmy to go down to see her dragons?
"A queen I am, but my throne is made of burned bones, and it rests on quicksand."
Ugh! I have so much trouble with Dany's chapters. I love her in theory but I cant take the way he writes her.

No worries. I am sure you will be all caught up to me in a few days I am back to reading it but it has been a slow go.

Not loving it?
Its more of a love/hate thing. George should really have lunch with me. I need to discuss some things with him.

Well, they were talking about those Targaryen babies that were killed in the Rebellion. Barristan reminded her that that was Lannister's fault, not Stark's. And she was saying "Lannister or Stark, what difference? Viserys used to call them the Usurper's dogs. If a child is set upon by a pack of hounds, does it matter which one tears out his throat? All the dogs are just as guilty. The guilt..." And then she thought about that girl that Drogon killed and how it according to her own logic all the dragons were guilty, and so was she, because she 'gave birth' to them. So that's why she went to see them. It wasn't really random.

It is claimed that when the glass candles burn the sorcerers can see across mountains, seas and deserts, give men visions and dreams and communicate with one another half a world apart. (source: A Wiki of Ice and Fire) So basically yeah lol What I remember is that they only burn if somewhere in the world there is a living dragon. I'm not 100% sure, though, I might have come up with this one on my own, because of how glass candles have starting to burn again out of nowhere. And it is called dragonglass...

That makes so much more sense! Thank you for clarifying that Ria!
