This chapter was Epic. The three eyed raven looks crazy, I love it. I wonder what Jojen's dream was about. "The hour is late", is it about the White Walkers? I hope we see Coldhands again.
When I first read part of this sentence "a nest of milk snakes" I thought it said "milk steaks". If anyone watched Always Sunny in Philadelphia would know the humor. Charlie's favorite food is milk steak and a side of jelly beans.

BTW, this chapter was kinda cool. It seems GRRM's fast-paced, action-packed, mystery-clad writing style has been restored (thank God), say goodbye to the textbook of yawn that was AFFC. The endings of each chapters were amazing so far. Including this one!
Great introduction to a new character. Also refreshing to finally meet "Children of the Forest" that's been mentioned since Old Nan still had her screentime lol I think this won't be the last of Cold Hands...I'm sure his true identity will be somewhat shocking once revealed.

I wonder how old Old Nan really was. I wonder if she had some magic behind her or if she was a child of the Forrest trying to provoke Bran with the stories.

Oh, I hadn't thought of that! It does sound quite possible. But then again, Hodor is her grandson? And he's ginormous.
I missed Bran's chapters so much! There are so many unresolved mysteries! Who's the crow? Who's Coldhands? Btw, I was thinking while reading this, could he be Jeor Mormont? No one said anything about his body being burnt after he died at Craster's Keep and I think Coldhands showed up after Mormont died. But then again, he seems to know quite a lot of things that I doubt the Lord Commander knew. Or perhaps someone (the three-eyed crow? or one of the Children) warged his way into his body. I don't know. But there's this really cool picture of him in the Wiki of Ice and Fire:

Btw, am I the only one who found it weird that Bran could only say Hodor while in Hodor's body? Or perhaps he could say other things, but he never did and I wonder why.
PS. Now that I think about it, that girl-who-is-not-a-girl said about Coldhands "They killed him long ago.", so perhaps it's not Mormont after all. I'm starting to see unexistent ties between characters now. Thanks, George...
