Well somehow I don't think they will get very far without Dany and her dragons. All for hope. Maybe he will be the King.

gam s (Haveyouread.bkk) (siyxx) | 100 comments OMFG did he or did he not get the Greyscale? The whole chapter was so boooring until the end, where I felt like, well, something interesting might happen after all, when they all arrive in Dorne. Good luck explaining yourself to the Sandsnakes, guys.

I don't think he has any chance of being the king.

I don't think so either, but GRRM will pop him up in some surprising way. Be some mind blowing twist.

I don't think so either.

I wonder why GRRM even threw these characters into the series in book 5. I mean you know that someone from book one is gonna end up on the throne!

Ria (ban1chka) | 440 comments I don't know what to believe anymore. I'm not even sure this Aegon is legitimate. What I do know, though, is that Jon Connington was totally in love with Rhaegar (aka his "silver prince") hehehe

Lmao Ria

Brianna (bebecburt) | 562 comments This group of people is where I keep getting the most confused - not gonna lie.

"Very little of what the fat man has anticipated has come to pass. I have danced to the fat man's pipes for years, Lemore. What has it availed us?" ← This makes me think that this entire thing is orchestrated by Illyrio.

I feel like I may have missed something. Jon Connington is Griff. The name Jon Connington is really familiar, but I'm not sure why...

"Another boy king sits the Iron Throne, this one even younger than the last, and rebels are quick upon the ground as autumn leaves."

What's with all these references to bells?

Greyscale!!!

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) I also thought this chapter was boring until the final few pages. Connington got the rot...er, grayscale (I'm also reading Kings of the Wyld so I get a little mixed up sometimes). Young Griff/Aegon is ready to invade Westeros without Dany.

That guy seems to have his hands in everything. I wouldn't be surprised to see Illyrio and Varys behind everything at the end of the final book (assuming the final book ever gets written that is).

Prior hand to Rhaegar.

Brianna wrote: "What's with all these references to bells? "

The Battle of the Bells was referenced briefly in A Storm of Swords - it was an early battle fought in the Rebellion.

There's a lot to keep track of in these books. I use this website as a reference, hope it's helpful: http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/...
