Rebecca | 4 comments Here's the books I'm deciding between. Delirium is my first choice, but I'm wondering if it has a horrible ending because the third book doesn't has as great reviews as the others. A Hidden Fire I tried reading this book, but didn't get a chapter into it because it didn't grab me right away. A Discovery of Witches I tried starting this one too, but didn't make it a chapter either.

I'm open to other recommendations too. I prefer that the series is finished and the main characters are the same throughout. :)

Sam | 1052 comments I enjoyed The All Souls Trilogy (A Discovery of Witches) though the time travel in the second book irritated me (I'm not a big time travel fan). Loved the final book though so it was worth it. Haven't read the other two options.

Lauren (laurenjberman) I also loved the All Souls Trilogy and book #2 is actually my favorite because of the time travel (even though I'm not always a fan of the trope) and the inclusion of real life figures as characters. Harkness's historical research is fabulous.

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments I really liked Delirium but the finale was kinda disappointing. I loved Hunter's Elemental Mysteries, but it was a bit of a slow start. I haven't read All Souls.

Josie | 1967 comments I have read #1 of the All Souls Trilogy and IMO I found it BO-RING but then I'm in the minority LOL ;)

If I had to pick out of those three, I would probably try Hidden Fire (mainly because Steph has rated it 5 stars!) but maybe try something else if none of those are tickling your fancy.

Steph (angel4492) | 32697 comments LOL! ;) Please don't pick it because of that ... I'd feel terrible if you didn't like it as well.

message 7: by Josie (new)

Josie | 1967 comments Hahahahahaha! I'm sure it was/is free on kindle so no harm done either way ;)

Sandra | 25908 comments LOL I gave it 5 stars as well, but I have yet to read any more of the series - not sure why.

Rebecca | 4 comments Well I've started the All Souls Trilogy. I'm intrigued so far, but it is moving along rather slowly.

message 10: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments I found it started off a little slow, but then I got caught up in it, and read close to straight through...

Hope it picks up and you enjoy it.

It does start out slowly but picks up around the halfway mark if you can keep going.
