Now that our read for September 2016 has been decided, it's time for everyone to nominate a book for our October read.

Nominate a crime/mystery/thriller/suspense book which is set in Ireland. True crime or cosy mysteries are included in this :)

This thread will be open until 5th September, then our nominations will go to the vote:) Good luck and have fun!

Authors and publishers, please don't nominate your own work!

Brenda I would like to get involved in this, as I've never done a group read before? I was also going to nominate Little Girl Lost, can I still do so?

Yes as I didn't Jenni! So your nomination is Little Girl Lost by Brian McGilloway

Once the nominations are closed they go to a vote in the polls. Once the voting is finished, the book with the most votes is the book of the month for the group read :) Thanks Jenni!

Thank you Brenda, you know I had to do a search of books written about Ireland, and came across Brian McGilloway, I have never read his books before but they certainly gained my interest, so thought it best to start with the first, whether it is nominated or not, I definitely want to read Little Girl Lost :)

Is that one set in Ireland Carol? I can see there are Irish characters, but it also mentions Australia?

It doesn't come out till the middle of September either which makes it a bit tricky for getting it read!

message 18: by Kym (new)

Kym Hamer (kymhamer) One of the Katie Maguire series by Graham Masterson - A Terrible Beauty (#1), Broken Angels (#2), Red Light (#3) and Taken for Dead (#4) are the 4 I've read so far and really enjoyed (I think there's 7 in the series to date).
