Do you think we should have a author website to link all our books, blog, social media channels? Or just having a blog or FB page for a book is enough? What is the best way to create a personal website?

I blog 2-3 times a day during the week and 1-2 a day on the weekends. Since I get a lot of European traffic, I try to blog at night to catch the Europeans as they wake up and then in morning to catch the US, Canada and South America traffic.
Blogging is also bringing in search engine traffic as well.
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. I have a blog already and I'm writing a book at the moment so was wondering whether I should have my own website which can link to my blog. I myself love visiting author websites. Hopefully I'll launch mine soon!

Hello all, I just put together my website. I went for the minimal look. Just kept the basic things. Thought it'll be a great idea to have something online while I'm writing my book. Sharing my website here incase anyone's interested:

I'm trying to link all my websites together, but the main site
http://www.goodbookgoodprice.com/
has to be the hub.
Then I'm also working on individual sites like
http://www.the-brittle-sea.online/
and on top of that I am producing video promos at the moment. So watch out for that.

I use my website to promote my books, post my book reviews, and write a blog on life lessons we can learn from myths. www.tamaraaghajaffar.com

I used wix to design my website and I'm pretty happy with the result. You can check it out at www.niharsuthar.com :)

I started posting book reviews on my website in October. I currently have over 50 book reviews. It is an eclectic list of fiction and non fiction. My website also has information about my books and includes my blog on mythology.
