I think this is the darkest of the books.

Yes, there are ones with higher body counts, but suffocating air of paranoia and denial is really, really, really dark. You can't openly fight in this book.

i agree that this is the darkest book and i personally think that is why i read this one the least

I didn't re-read this book a ton because of Umbridge and Sirius dying
