In a hunt for loves understanding many people fall victim to the misunderstanding. Thus, I look forward to reading this book, because it's a journey to the understanding.

Non-fiction/memoir

Just bought the book for my kindle this morning after seeing the author on CBS This Morning. Already on chapter 4 and loving it! Brought me to tears a few times with her insights.

Good Morning Everyone..my name is Bianca..from Chicago...I went right out and purchased it...and finished it. I laughed, cried and nodded my head with Glennon...it was like having a conversation with her. I loved it and hope you all will too.

Hi Everyone! I am new to the group. I have followed Oprah's book club as a silent partner but this book made me "officially" join. Watching the video of Oprah with the author resonated as if she was talking about my life. At the moment of my pain, I was not able to put into words the range of emotions that were slowly creating a new woman that I knew not but I would come to love her today. :) Can't wait to get into this book and hear everyone's stories. Saw Ms. Melton in Columbia,SC last year and enjoyed her first book. Started reading new book last night. She knows how to say the things many wives and moms are afraid to say.

I downloaded it on the 3M llibrary via my nook. But I believe it is also available to download through Barnes and Noble.

So being new, can someone educate me on how this works? Is there somewhere we comment or a guide that is used?

Hi Cathy im new also and dont always get it!!!lol i get the notifications and read them &comment if need be!! Im not sure if theres more to do or not! I guess oprah usually has a bk a yr but she just released another one!!! Maybe someone with more knowledge will fill u in!!!lol

I picked up my copy today!

I downloaded it and read it in one sitting. Couldn't put it down! I look forward to picking it back up and savoring it

I finally have finished the books I was reading for my goodreads groups I belong to so I started Love Warrior last night. I have not been able to put it down yet!

It is the best book Oprah has had in quite some time, I think it is great and have to get back to it right now. Hope everyone enjoys it.

I JUST finished A Man Called Ove! It was a good read!! Now im starting Love Warrior!! I can tell by just the first few pages, that im not goibg to get anything done, but read this bk!!!lol

I bought the man called ove when audible had a sale. Cant wait to start it.

I just finished Love Warrior and now that I hear they are getting a divorce I kinda feel like a peeping tom.

A Man Called Ove was one of the few books I actually cried over. Since then, I have devoured every book the author has written. I love his characterization.

I'm going to read it a bit later.....I'm more of a fiction-loving freak

Hi. I'm new here. I'm currently listening to the audiobook version. I'm enjoying the book immensely. In a world where we may feel that we are becoming increasingly small and insignificant, and in feeling so, fall back onto bad behavior that makes us feel included, important or significant, it helps us realize that we are not alone and that no wonder we get into trouble! However, the best part of the message is that we can come through it in one piece and become even stronger for it. I especially enjoy that it is Glennon Doyle Melton, herself, who recorded it.

Have you ever used Overdrive? It's an online library through your local library (if available) and you can get Ebooks as well as Audiobooks.

I finished Love WArrior! LOVEDIT!!! I highly recommend it and its a easy read!!!

I'm loving the book! Totally.

I finished "Love Warrior" last week before I started the class. Although my life is very different from hers, I found it a great read & very empowering!
I am taking the class because the 2nd novel (the prequel to the 1st) I'm writing is very much about my own life & experiences when I lived in New Orleans. It is more difficult to write because of this.
Oh, I wanted to mention that I was contacted by one of Oprah's staff about using a comment. Although they decided not to use it, she said to send Oprah my novel. But I never could find the address of where to send it.
