We Are Unique discussion

Happy Wednesday everyone. I've been struggling with the feeling recently that all the weird writer quirks I've developed are just me, and that "normal people" probably don't, you know, search info about people's throats being slit. But, I was talking to some other writer friends (via the internet of course. how do you even talk to strangers otherwise?) and I realized that I think a lot of us do some pretty strange stuff.

So, to possibly lighten the angry mood your in after someone sent you a frustrating critique, I thought I'd make a lighthearted video to discuss all the weird stuff us writer people do. My video quality is NOT top notch, I'll admit, but I don't have a lot of money, so....deal ;)

I didn't have cable growing up either. And my family didn't get internet for a long time. That was probably when my obsession with stories began (reading books, playing video games, etc).

I have netflix, so I definitely watch too much of that!

Hahaha, I will let him know! I really want to do the Whisper Challenge with him, but have the words and phrases we say be book inspired. We've done it in the past and it was super funny, but he's nervous to come on camera. I'll let him know he has you cheering him on!

Btw el yes I play piano. I have for 6 years.

There is pianist here who is doing a workshop so we get 10 minutes with her to give us tips and stuff. It's really cool!
