Jane Austen discussion

We will begin our discussion here on Oct. 6, 2016. Please join us.

I will be posting additional threads for the discussion. I know it has been several weeks since some members read the story, so I am including a synopsis within each discussion section (no spoilers, I promise) just to help keep our bearings if you may have returned the book to the library or sent it on to another reader. Let me know if I might adjust this structure in any way.

I plan to have shorter discussion sections toward the end of the novel, as the action builds. We will check the pace of discussion of this first section and will post the next section according to that. Thanks everyone for participating!
