Celestine | 286 comments Indecisive about picking your next science fiction romance read? Get help from a group friend! Make one recommendation from the three books listed in the immediately preceding post, then list three SFR books so the next person can recommend one for you.

Celestine | 286 comments I've been having a difficult time picking my next SFR book. Anyone suggest one out of these three in my TBR pile?

Sarazen's Claim, Book One by Isabel Wroth Liberation's Vow (Robotics Faction, #3) by Wendy Lynn Clark Fluency by Jennifer Foehner Wells

I've only read Fluency from those three but I do recommend it!

Great, K.J. I will put it next to read. Now, list three SFR books in your TBR pile for the next person on this thread to pick for you. Thanks.

Narrowing down to three isn't easy! Here's a random three:

Dark Planet Warriors The Complete Serial (Dark Planet Warriors, #1) by Anna Carven Dark Planet Warriors by Anna Carven

Warrior Wench (The Asarlaí Wars, #1) by Marie Andreas Warrior Wench by Marie Andreas

Star Nomad (Fallen Empire, #1) by Lindsay Buroker Star Nomad by Lindsay Buroker

I ended up reading Warrior Wench and loved it!

Jen (jenniferl915) | 320 comments Warrior Wench is the only one I didn't read. I do recommend the other two. I went on to read more of both series, but haven't yet finished either series.

I read Star Nomad later and loved it too -- just bought the rest of that series, too!

Jen (jenniferl915) | 320 comments Help, I need a new book to read:

Sarazen's Claim (Sarazen Saga, #1) by Isabel Wroth

The Outworlder Book I in the Silesia Trilogy by S K Valenzuela

Into the Light (Dark Planet Warriors, #3) by Anna Carven

Jen (jenniferl915) | 320 comments I have a few series I am working my way through. Which one should book should I read next?

Into the Light (Dark Planet Warriors, #3) by Anna Carven
Perilous Hunt (Fallen Empire, #7) by Lindsay Buroker
Warrior (Galactic Gladiators #2) by Anna Hackett

Gena | 71 comments Into the Light has my vote but tough choice!!

Celestine | 286 comments In honor of my new profile pic, I am going to dedicate February to clearing out some of my SFR backlist! Can't wait! Someone help me with what I should read next! The pick three are:

Alien Attachments (Alien Attachments, #1) by Sabine Priestley Shadowbound (Dark Arts, #1) by Bec McMaster Sarazen's Claim (Sarazen Saga, #1) by Isabel Wroth

message 13: by Jen (new)

Jen (jenniferl915) | 320 comments I tried to read Sarazen's Claim but never finished it. I think it was just OK. The other one I haven't read, but from the blurb sounds like it would be a quick read. My vote goes to Shadowbound because it sounds the most interesting.

message 14: by Celestine (new)

Celestine | 286 comments Done, Jen! I just started a new book earlier today and I think I have a NetGalley review due, but then Shadowbound!

Jen, just a note that Shadowbound (Dark Arts, #1) by Bec McMaster is fully in the historical paranormal camp, not sci-fi or even steampunk. McMaster has placed it in a setting very similar to her London Steampunk series, but it is without the sci-fi component.

Jen (jenniferl915) | 320 comments Thanks for letting me know. Did you like it?

message 17: by Celestine (new)

Celestine | 286 comments I liked Shadowbound very much. I have moved on to Hexbound already. Reviews to come.

message 18: by Jen (new)

Jen (jenniferl915) | 320 comments What to continue?
Perilous Hunt (Fallen Empire, #7) by Lindsay Buroker and get closer to the finale of the series?
Dark Deeds (Class 5, #2) by Michelle Diener and read book 2 immediately after book 1?
Or something lighter, such as Sweet Barbarian by Jayla Jasso ?

KJ Van Houten | 237 comments Mod
Buroker's Fallen Empire series was one of my favourites reads of the year, so I'll vote for that one! I really couldn't get into Deiner's series so never read beyond the first one (although it's still on my someday list) and I haven't read your third choice.

Jen (jenniferl915) | 320 comments I need help! Which one should I read next?

Destroyer (Hidden Planet, #1) by Anna Carven

Ariston (Star Guardians, #6) by Ruby Lionsdrake

Wild Blood (Cyborg Shifters, #1) by Naomi Lucas

message 21: by KB (new)

KB Mack | 1 comments I love the svenkars and the Star Guardians, so I vote for Lionsdrake's book

message 22: by Jen (new)

Jen (jenniferl915) | 320 comments You are both not helping, just making my decision harder! HaHa
