Emma (rpblcofletters) Salve! Nomen Emma! Quod est nomen tibi?

That's all I got.
Oh wait!
Coniurationis Commentarium. Iulianus Medicius.

That's all!

message 16: by Emma (last edited May 27, 2014 05:29PM) (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) Ego?

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Salve! (( pronounce V as W and J as I (there was no letter J so Julius becomes Iulius ect ) there is the letter v but you say W)

message 18: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) Quia.

message 19: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) You said why. I said because.

message 20: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) My friend taught me wrong then!
Quod?

message 21: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) Hmmm. I'm trying to teach myself. I have two books in Latin and they're of no help. :)

message 22: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) I have Coniurationis Commentarium and the internet. And my friend has Ecce Romani 1. So she teaches me some stuff. Like Nomen Emma, quod est nomen tibi...

message 23: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) Yeah :) but the prior is so confusing because it was written in 1478 and the translation i have is in Italiano not English...

message 24: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) I need to get one...

message 25: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) Yaaah...
I know how to say this, though!

Mea navis volitans anguillis plena est!!

message 26: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) It means 'my hovercraft is full of eels'.

message 27: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) Yaah it's a long story :)

message 29: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) Yeah wasn't it? Lol

message 30: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) There's another one about a joke that's so funny that people die laughing.

message 31: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) :)

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

Vitiosum est, sed austeri didici ex Academia hedum liber:
(Google Translate for that part, the next part is what I learned myself)
Memento mori.

(It's really morbid, but it's the only thing I know how to say. ;)

message 33: by Emma (new)

Emma (rpblcofletters) I only know how to say this...

Mea navis volitans anguillis plena est!

It means "my hovercraft is full of eels".
