The Darwath Series: The Time of the Dark, The Walls of Air, and The Armies of Daylight
Just reminded of this recently, so would like to nominate it. Evidently, Barbara Hambly has also written two other books for this series, which I have never read. Whether to include these, I'm sure will be up to mods.
:)
Here's a better link to all five.

Is this series complete?
Looks like 4 and 5 are yet to be published. But I've read the first one and it was good (not great). The second one is on my TBR.

Since Dagger and Coin is out, how about Abraham's Long Price Quartet, starting with A Shadow in Summer...love that one!

And I second this series.

Great, thank you very much!
I nominate The Grisha Series by Leigh Bardugo.
The first two books in the series have been out for some time and the third is due out June 17th.
A few wonderful folk-tales set in the same world as the novels are available for free on Tor.com. They contain no spoilers and give a nice feel for the novels' unique Russian-esque fantasy setting.

Yes, please visit our group Bookshelf (see link above).

While not technically a 'complete' series, any or all of these books can be read as standalones. A handful do span a common arc, but most are individual.

L.E. Modesitt, Jr.'s bestselling fantasy novels set in the magical world of Recluce are among the most popular in contemporary fantasy. Each novel tells an independent story that nevertheless reverberates though all the other Recluce novels to deepen and enrich the reading experience. As Publishers Weekly says, "Modesitt creates a complex world based on a plausible system of magic and peopled with engaging and realistic characters." Rich in detail, the Recluce books are a feast of wondrous marvels.

The Circle Trilogy: The Complete Trilogy in One Epic Edition

& Green: The Beginning and the End

Keep the nominations coming!
Thanks everyone!
Jon

Thanks, Jon
