Alexandra | 70 comments On the book page for the version of "The Nutcracker" attributed to be by Janet Schulman, Renée Graef listed among the "other versions" is "The Nutcracker" attributed to ETA Hoffmann and illustrated by Maurice Sendack.

These are not the same book, and are not "other versions" of the same book.

On this page, for the Janet Schulman, Renée Graef book, it erroneously displays me as having read this book, and given it 5 stars. I have never read this book, and this is not the book I shelved, reviewed and gave 5 stars.
When looking at my shelves the correct book is shelved and the correct book is shown to have my review - the ETA Hoffmann/Maurice Sendack book.

I realize there are many adaptations, translations, etc. of this story, but feel this listing is misleading and confusing. The book illustrated by Maurice Sendack is a unique adaptation, and is very special. It shouldn't be listed as another version of someone else's adaptation. I absolutely do not want it to appear I have read a book I have not, and I am recommending an adaptation of this story I have never read, rather than the one I have.
I'd appreciate it if these listings could be separated, they are not the same book. Thank you for your consideration.
