Audrie My book was “Waiting For Normal”, It was a really good book Its basically just about this little girl and how her life has been changed. She talks about things that happen in her life, like he mothers divorce (twice), moving and leaving her sisters behind, and changing her living style to a trashy trailer.
The character in the book I read was in first person. It gave a great description of the setting and place, they were always at their trailer and if not Addie the main character was always at the store down the street with the store owners. You can tell in the book that Addie’s mother does not like the trailer by the tone of voice she uses, it very angry and not happy to be in a trashy trailer. The whole time they live in the trailer Addie has a positive attitude because she does not want to put more pressure on her mom.
The main conflict would be when Addie’s mom leaves to a trip and doesn’t come back for weeks. She leaves and tells Addie it’s a business trip but she really left with some guy for weeks and left Addie at the trailer with money. She was there alone for weeks with no contact to call her father or anyone. She didn’t tell anyone until her mother came back.
The book was actually really good I would read It again. I would mostly recommend it for girls because it’s kind of a girly book because it’s based on a girls. It’s a really good story and I think some people who read it could really get something out of it especially people who are you going through or went through the same thing Addie did.
