The Plot
'Please note that this experiment might not be successful. There are chances for its failure.' Professor Page's voice boomed in the room.

All the participants nodded their heads without a second thought.

Seeing that no one wanted ve back out, Professor Page was happy. 'Well then, this time machine will take you into the future. If everything goes right, you will be in the year 2089 .'

'But why that year? Is it not better to go further? Perhaps the next century?' came a voice from among the participants.

'Well, we do want you all to come back safe and sound. If you go into the distant future, there are chances you might not be able to return at all. Since this is our first experiment, who knows what the outcome will be. We will need to make more improvements to travel to the distant future.'

The participants nodded, wondering whether they would ever see their family, their friends, and this scientist ever again. After all, they had volunteered. They each went into the time machines. It was rather funny that each of them had got separate time machines.

'The destination has already been set. All you have to do is press the blue button to your right. Good luck!' One by one, the time machines began to disappear. The scientists looked at each other silence, hoping their invention would work. Professor Page stared at the space where the time machines had stood. Time..

What is going to happen to you go the future? Can you reach there? If yes, what surprises await you there?

What happens here?
You will have to start by doing the tasks in order in order to go according to the plot. There will be main tasks which will have to be done in order to proceed with the story, and also mini-tasks as part of the plot, which is optional.

There is a storyline which is frequently updated. At the end of each update, you will have to read a few books to complete the tasks. As the story advances, you will also have to read books with certain specific requirements - but of any genre.

Task one: Read a book set in the future.

Task two: Read a book with water on the bookcover

And so on.

You are in the time machine. To navigate your time machine, you need to press the blue button.



Read a book with a blue cover.
• It just needs to be 50% blue.

You see lights at the end of what you think is a passage. As you approach the light, your machine begins to make some noise. It spins the person inside - in this case - you, making you dizzy. And then, you reach the future.

The year 2089 has indeed changed a lot. Every where, you can see sky-scrapers, flying cars - it is just beggars description. It appears that the future has definitely evolved. You begin to hope that time travel research has evolved, too, because you have a problem. The time machine is broken, and you don't know what to do. You crashed in a place which looks like an artificial woods, but it looks rather deserted. So you hide the machine, and begin to explore the future. After all, you do need to find a research centre to fix the time machine.



Read a book set in the future .

The future was so amazing that you couldn't help but stare! It was.... awesome! You reached a building, a huge laboratory, and it stood right where it had in the past. You were just about to enter when two men walked over, and ran away with your belongings. You had been given a card to prove that you were from the past, and the men had pocketed that as well. You needed that to get into the building! So you chased the two men. They were fast, but you desperately need that!



Read one of the following:
• Read a book where someone steals something.
• Read a book with the word 'Thief' in the title.

You chased the thieves, but it was just a matter of time before they vanished into thin air. You looked around - all lost in an unknown period. A police station? Well, you decided to try your luck there, but of course, as expected, they thought you were crazy blabbering about coming from the past, and eventually kicked you out of there. You were walking with no hope left when you saw a newspaper stacked near a lamppost. Some things just don't change. Newspapers still exist even in the future You caught it, and began to read it to get some information. That was when you saw the jobs page. There were so many different jobs: the cafe was hiring, a printing company as well, along with one special place - a company that takes on job requests sent by common people to earn money - The Ivory Towers

You decided to apply for this job, mainly because it did not require any particular qualifications or specialization. Besides, it would be easier to convince the members there since from the looks of it, it had not many members. You quickly go to the place.



Read one of the following:
• Read a book where the protagonist is unemployed, or looking for a job
• Read a book where the protagonist works part time

The leader of the guild wants to test you first before giving you a place there. Your first mission is to help the chef in the kitchen with the menu.

"Be warned! We have a lot of hungry members with no patience, so you need to be fast." Challenge accepted! You roll up your sleeves and look at the first thing you need to prepare. Tea! Simple, isn't it?



This involves multiple steps.

Step 1: Boil
• Read a book with the title or author's name beginning with one of the letters: B, O, I or L.

Step 2: Type of Tea
Read a book with a colour on the cover that matches the kind of tea you want.
Black - Black tea
Green - Green tea
White - Iced tea

Step 3: Sugar?
No sugar - Read a stand alone book
A spoon of sugar - Read book 1 in any series
Two spoons - Read book 2 in any series
