It's going to take me until at least Wednesday to start this, Ann, but I have all 3 Yankee Swap lists, The Boulder Bookstore recommendations any of the two books the authors couldn't wait for us to read from I think 4 of the authors AND the books mentioned during the book club discussion yesterday.
I have a PDF of the Boulder Book Store Staff Recommendations list. I'll post it as soon as I get home from Vermont on Thursday. No need for you to transcribe it, Linda.

I'm late on posting the Boulder Book Store list. Bit of a crazy week (part of our septic system failed so I have no kitchen or shower. Thankfully we have a second system in the back yard that is connected to a small 1/2 bath). I hope to get it up this weekend.

So sorry! Been there, done that. Hope it is repaired soon!

Gerald, the way the Yankee Swap works is we all pull numbers. The first person/number picks a book from the pile and then unwraps it, shows it off and then sits down.
The second person does the same except if s/he wants the first book, it can be "stolen" or exchanged with the first person.
The third person can exchange or steel from #1 or #2 and that's the way it goes the rest of the way through the books.
#1 does get to "steal" from anyone after all the books have been picked.
Does that help?

Wow, okay, but you as said "**** denotes popular and stolen books" (not most often stolen), I thought you might appreciate being able to make your list more accurate.
And this, I think, is my cue to leave the building.
