Many of us make reading plans each month, which we find we are unable to complete within the timeframe. Then, the unfinished books get re-shelved on the tbr or linger at the bottom of our "currently reading" shelf forever, taunting us like Marley's ghost. This is your chance to break the chains you've forged in life... (Uh, this year.)

Mission: Choose five books you planned to read THIS YEAR, which you were unable to accomplish. Then, Bust 'em, Dr. Venkman!

Dates: October 1 - December 31, 2016

Danielle | 56 comments There's a few series in which I just need to read the last book or books I've started but didn't complete. Great idea to put them in a list.

1. Mockingjay - completed
2. Clockwork Angel
3. The One -completed
4. The Battle of the Labyrinth
5. Sweet Reckoning - completed

Completed: 3/5

That's what I was planning to do, Sonia. Books that I keep pushing off when I get distracted by other more shiny books.

Definitely! It's for both started and planned. Anything you thought you'd get to but didn't ... And maybe feel guilty about. :P

I have read Lark Rise to Candleford, which is actually three novels and really enjoyed them. I got a good idea of what life was like in a British village at the time, with likeable characters.

I think I'm going to have to call this one done for myself at 3 of 5 completed. I just don't think I'll finished the last 2 in time. :(

Hey, 3 is still good! The readathon helped me finish my last one - The Dead Travel Fast. I'm ready for a new year of haunting now. :)
