What did you think of the ending where the homeless woman saves the hapless Nick Morelli's life (sorry for my obvious bias)?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I actually thought for a moment that we would see the last of Nick Morelli.

I loved that the homeless woman saved the day. Certainly wasn't expecting that twist. I also loved that she didn't have an invisible companion, but was actually talking to her pet hiding in the cart she was pushing.

Lol! I agree with everything you said.

Phrynne | 607 comments It was a good story but could you really stab and kill someone with an icicle? I was a bit underwhelmed by that ending.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 7669 comments Mod
In Nebraska in the winter? Definitely. It's frigid there in the winter.

Phrynne | 607 comments But an icicle? Wouldn't it snap? She would have been driving it through clothes as well as flesh and she would not have had the experience to know how to drive it up at the heart. I am not convinced:)

Not necessarily if it's cold enough. Here's a link to wiki on them:

Phrynne | 607 comments Hmmm. Still not entirely convinced:):)

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments It sounds poetic, at the least!
