- Sirens are, in general, beautiful creatures who will lure you to their death with their beautiful voices. If you can hear their singing, you are already lost. They cause sailors to crash their boats, or jump into the water and drown.
- Generally speaking, the Sirens look like regular women, only women mind you, but they are actually human haters and will sit on the shore and sing with their voices to kill them. Of course, they are often confused with Mermaids, but as long as the humans are no longer on the water, they care little for who gets the blame.
- Some sirens have been rumored to actually disguise themselves as mermaids to purposefully give them a bad name, in an attempt to keep the humans off the water.
- it is rumored that Sirens are actually the women who were on sailing boats that, when things got bad, were tossed into the ocean to drown because of the superstition that having a woman on a boat was bad luck. So when things turned south, the women, if any, were immediately sent to drown.
