Money Can`t Lie
Should there be three pieces of crap this is of the British intelligence classic
He was not worth a straw to the intelligence, a mere sleeper, just a small coin. One day he felt behind his back there was someone else, someone a big shot of so high value they could not afford to lose him. Who could that be, a recent defector? He had no idea.
He could only scent a trace of him barely-there, just a tip. They were seeking to ward the trail off, and not just by drawing it aside. Now it appeared leading straight to him. Every little thing would point to him.
The trace would be lifeless, of beautiful classics and as much stone-dead.
There is no the usual spyware stuff.
The book was translated from the Russian. So...
There is no Russian specifics in the books. There is nothing of the “dangerous Russian reality”, there is no politics as such, no politicians, no corruption, on any view there is not a single character who would think or care about it.
There are no killings or killers killings, no drugs, cops, feds or investigators, and there is not a single character who would rummage in the waste bin looking for something.
My characters do not get sick, die or do their time in prison, they sleep a peaceful sleep. No one has ever taken away their rubber duck in childhood.
They are free from any family issues.
Whatever you may think of, they probably got none, either.
WHO SPREADS FOR WHOM. Book Two of The Sleeper Series
The British intelligence cannot compromise its integrity, it will adhere to its principles like in the old times of rock`n`roll. And it’s damn good to look at it working… but then it’s scary to see it work against yourself.
They seemed to be looking for a perfect witness for that legal action. One was a sleeper, another one a dead sleeper, and the third was a dummy agent. While this man alone passed for all three but he was never summoned to court.
Coming soon.
Hope you will enjoy,
