if you're following the mythology, she becomes a volva, so she wouldn't necessarily be a goddess anymore, right? so I would say have her be separate.

ALRIGHT SO question. Freyja has the necklace Brisingamen that's definitely a thing, but there's a couple versions of how she got it. Idk which I prefer help

One: She found them making the necklace and offered to buy it from them for anything. They refused but I mean she's really hot so she smiled and pouted and got off easy so the price was that she had to sleep with each of them. Mostly that she manipulated them, which I like this version because it shows she's clever and badass.
Two: Same thing, found them and the necklace, but it's enchanted to be coveted by people beyond most things. Offered to buy it, but they ended up manipulating her using the necklace into sleeping with each of them. So they fucked over her (too literally omg) in this one, but I like it because it makes her a bit more human and vulnerable seeming.
