There are some wonderful stories in this collection by Stephen King. Most of them have been published before but there are a few new entries. I particularly enjoyed "Mile 81" in which King delivers a horror tale that is very creepy; "The Dune", a sand dune that mysteriously has names drawn in the sand of people who will die soon thereafter; "Bad Little Kid", badder than you could ever imagine; "Under the Weather" - horrible but so touching in its own way; and "Obits" in which a young reporter writes an obituary for a live person that he is not fond of, and voila! said person drops dead.
The audio is particulary enjoyable as there are some wonderful readers: Hope Davis, Mare Winningham, Edward Hermann, Will Patton and many others. I definitely recommend the audio if you can get it.
I got this collection when it came out but haven't made the investment yet. Sounds like I should. Thanks for sharing your review. Btw, have you ever read King's short story "The Last Rung on the Ladder" from the Night Shift collection? It's my favorite King short story and one of my favorite short stories of all time.
