43 books to date in the In Death series. You could do a challenge on that alone:) Have fun:)

MaryG2E (goodreadscommaryg2e) | 934 comments Mmm, some excellent titles there Marianne. All the Outlander volumes are really chunky, and I'll confess to putting them off several times. I know they are very well loved books, with legions of fans. Now, conveniently, the Outlander TV series is screening on SBS at present, and Diana Gabaldon is listed in the credits, so one hopes that it is fairly true to the books. The In Death books and John Marsden's series are much shorter, and easy to read. For both series, I reckon it is beneficial to start with the first instalment. I loved All the Light We Cannot See.

Icewineanne | 267 comments Wow - Marianne you’ve got some super long books in your pile. Very familiar with many of these books as I have had the same ones sitting in a pile in the spare room seemingly forever. Put off reading them because of the length (Luminaries, Little Life, Middlesex, Goldfinch), I wonder if I’ll ever get to them 🙄
But more power to you! Very happy reading!!
