Dee | 851 comments Hello everyone,

Post here for feedback on the challenges this year both for the monthly challenges and the yearly challenge. Also if you have any ideas for the challenges for next year.

Thanks

Hanne | 758 comments First of all, I want to thank you for organizing everything. You also answer every question fast. I enjoyed every monthly challenge and the yearly challenge. You made me read paranormal romance again (I read the genre, but YA before finding the genres I'm loving now) and I'm liking the genre. You make me pick up books that I own for a long time.

I only didn't like the category of the book that has to older than 10 years old. I still have to read a book for that category, but I didn't find many books that I want to read for that category. Some categories were difficult, but I found more books for them as the year went by.

I love it that there were bonus points to win with some challenges.

I would like a montly challenge where there isn't a maximal point to earn, so that someone can catch up if they missed a month or if someone started later.

Some ideas:
1. Book with a title of only 1 word (Bedwrecker) - Title of 2 words - ...
2. Standalones in a series or a complete standalone (not a series)
3. Cover matches the title (Bedwrecker (the bed) or Over the Fence (fence))
5. Different jobs (like the challenge with the sports)
6. You choose a letter of the alphabet and you read a number of books with a title that starts with that letter (example: All that Jazz, Alarm, ...) (don't use titles that start with A or The)
7. You choose 5 successive letters of the abc. (Example: Alarm, Bedwrecker, Conflagration, The Deal and The End Game) (Again: no A and The)
8. Read a book from the booklists

Thank you Hanne. I am so happy that you enjoyed the challenges. I also found some of the categories difficult to get to fit for New Adult. Category - book more than 10 years old - idea Finding Home by Lauren Baker

I never really thought about the maximum point threshold - might do that next month :)

I have a plan for next year which has one of your ideas :)

I enjoyed it a lot! I'm probably going to read Sweet Gum Tree for that category, but like I said before, there aren't many books for that category that I would love to read and pay much for..

I can't wait to see what the yearly challenge and the monthly challenges will be next year! :D
