Cinder question

I agree Winter was my favorite character. She was kind, gentle, and fair inspite of everything that was happening to and around her. She was adored simply for being herself.

Cress!! She's really cute and I can really understand her, as she didn't became a hero overnight, but she struggled with her new situation. Plus, she's paired with Thorne and their romance is great!!

Scarlet, for sure. I love how badass she is, and how she's strong and independent and can take care of herself. Her personality is amazing.

omg its scarlet. that girl is so perfect in my eyes. her freedom, her farm, her alpha (wolf <3)her strength, her sarcasm, her everything!! she is just...perfect!!! (wolf is my future husband and ima be just like scarlet, except the red hair)

I like Cinder and Scarlet the best probably. I like Cinder bc she’s always sarcastic and the fact that she’s a lunar cyborg is pretty cool plus so much more. I like Scar bc she’s always so brave and I just all around love her character.

Kai - I really liked him. How he stayed by Cinder the whole way, and how he stood up to Levana I’m the end was awesome!
Cinder/Selene - Um, can I just say that I love her. The first book was kind of boring, but then her character started to expand. She become, strong, fearless, and has a great sense of humour
Thorne - MY BABY. Thorne is the cutest, and while I would say he was a bit of a jerk in Cress, all the other books fully made up for it! The scene in the castle with Thorne and Cress was one of my favorites.
Wolf - I love him more than the world. Personally, I love alpha/beta relationships, and he and Scarlet had one of the best. The way he would protect her with his life was so pure oml
Scarlet - Okay, so I gotta day she’s my fav. Even through her capture, she stayed strong. She is what women need to be. Also, I love her dry sense of humour!
Cress - SHE IS SO CUTE. At first I thought she was annoying. Then I learned her character. I found that she was so pure, and her love of Thorne is so wonderful.
Jacin - Meh. He was pretty boring to read about. He sorta got better in Winter, protecting her and all, but he was still a dry character
Winter - I have to say, I don’t really get the hype about her. She got kind of annoying as the book went on. Don’t get me wrong, I still thought she had a great inner strength, but she wasn’t my fav
Iko - Gotta add this girl! She was sooooo funny, and her obsession with Emperor Kai was cute. Great side character!

My favourite character in this entire series is Emperor Kaito. I just think he is the most awesome ruler you will ever have the pleasure of reading about. He is so selfless and I admire him for his personality and for that reason he is my favourite character.

My favorite character in the Lunar Chronicles is Thorne. Thorne's character is just entertaining and amazing. Love his sarcasm.

My favorite character was Iko. She was so cute, a great friend to Cinder, and very funny.

Super late to this, but I only just finished the series a couple of months ago and I've been dying to discuss it. None of my friends read and so I've been slowly turning hollow inside with no one to talk to about this. I am 100% trash for Thorne, Wolf, and Cress. Because OMG. I loved them all (with the exception of Iko, who sort of annoyed me at times), but those three are my children. That is all.

Iko was amazing! She is so fun in the books but also courageous, even if she is an android!

Cress! Because I was sick for three years and became disconnected from the outside world for many reasons. So when I read these books I felt most connected to her. A little awkward, smart, cute and very sheltered. Additionally, I (Trisha Edwards) have my master's in psychology and it have come to believe that relatability is the most powerful thing to connect us to characters in any book.

Cress and Thorne forever!!!!

Was the book Scarlet a huge let down to anyone else? It was so hard to get through and kinda dark.

CAPTAIN CARSWELL THORNE! The story in itself was amazing, but Thorne adds that much needed humour to it and makes it all the more enjoyable. He really reminds me of Captain Jack Sparrow (Hilarious, cocky, full of himself) and I honestly think Thorne's character contributes the most to the story other than Cinder (Obviously)

My favorite character is Emperor Kaito. (All the way up until the 3rd book, Cress, I recalled him as Prince Kai, so thankfully I've mastered his proper name now) I literally fell heads over heals for him (which was the first and only time that ever happened to me) and I think he's incredibly selfless. He sacrifices so much to protect his people and I believe he does a really good job of being a ruler of his people. He doesn't let his love for Cinder come between his people and he tries everything he can to get the leutomousis antidote and protect his people from a full-out war. You can tell he is weary from working so hard, Levana's constant inflictive statements, and his conflicting love for Cinder, but he still persists so hard. He even offers to lay down his life (as seen to Cinder's reply in the ballroom of the first book and the final book when he refuses to leave without getting the antidote) and I think that's one of the ultimate sacrifices!

It's a tie between Wolf and Thorne. They are both just the best! Wolf is shy and sweet, yet is very dangerous. And Thorne is like the player, arrogant, and very prideful. They're like, almost opposites I think. Really I just love ALL THE CHARACTERS. They're all so cool! Really I relate to Cress the most, though.

I can't choose between Thorne and Cress! They are definitely my favorite ship from the series, and one of my biggest book otps. I just love how awkward and shy (yet brilliant) Cress is, and how sarcastic, adventerous, and charming Thorne is. I still love going back and reading the chapter in Winter where they sneak into the palace.

I also really love Cinder because she's so strong, and such a good leader, and Iko because she'll do anything for her friends.

Scarlet

Captain Throne 100% !!

CRESS! I love her so much, I relate to her the most, I find myself pretending I was her. She is shy, introverted and awkward and that’s me 100%. Her ship is my current OTP too! I cannot tell you how many times I’ve read Chapter 72 of Winter 😀. I love going back to her POVs, they’re the best! I love all the characters tbh, but Cress will always be #1.

SCARLET!!!! She's super capable and mostly self reliant and she went through so much and made it out ok. She adapted from the city life to farm life. She was brave enough to risk her life to try to save her grandma when there was barely any hope left. She IS, and WILL ALWAYS BE, my ALL-TIME FAV CHARACTER FOR THIS SERIES, the Lunar Chronicles is one of my very favorite series its amazing.

Mine has to be Cinder. I know it's a bit basic but hey she's a great character! I just loved her quick wits and interactions with the other characters.

Thorne and Winter

Captain Thorne for sure!! That man was a gem...the humour !! The no of times I literally laughed out loud because of Thorne was countless...I liked all the characters in the Lunar Chronicle but Thorne just made my day everytime I read the chapters he was in. He was funny in a very not aannoying manner. And my fav ship so far is also Thorne x Cress. Long live Captain Thorne lol XD..

I have 4 favourite characters.
Scarlet, Wolf, Winter and Thorne.

Scarlet has a lot of strength and doesn't let herself be defeated easily.
Wolf struck a chord with me and I like how he loves Scarlet and is willing to protect her above all else.
Winter has an amazing personality, and is amazing how in Luna although all the people choose the beauty and their powers above all else, she choose not use them, because she think that is not a good action.
Thorne is (for me) the funniest character, and he tries to look for the good part of the things.

Scarlet. She's just always awesome, especially (in one of the books) when she was in a room of mutants and she growled right back at them

Both Cress and Thorne are my favorite characters. Cress is so sweet and I can find her really relatable, it’s always fun to follow her thoughts and her relationship with Thorne. Thorne is also a great character, him and Cress are just made for each other and it’s melting to read about them.

Cress for sure. But maybe that's just because I like her book and storyline the best ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Iko and Scarlett because I really relate personality whys to both of them.

Scarlet then cinder then Kai then Wolf. All for very different reasons! But scarlet and wolf are the best together!

he's just awesome, and he is still himself through everything. and, he's not the typical "big strong dude" he also has a soft spot

Cinder because I have a soft spot for bad-ass main protagonists :3 Also, I love how the author aligned her story with her fairytales'

I'm going to say that my favorite character would be Thorne because I felt like Thorne put a lot of humor in the story. I mean don't get me wrong Cinder's sarcasm was pretty funny but Throne was basically the master at sarcasm. And he kinda reminds me of Captain America, except WAY cooler, and instead of being a hero he is a fugitive. Their looks are pretty similar to, and he is an american and not to mention he prefers people to call him 'captain'. There is a lot of other reasons to but I'm too lazy to get into it soooooo, bye

I think probably Scarlett because she could take care of herself she wasn't totally helpless like Cress (no offence I really love her). And her whole relationship with Wolf just was so amazing!

My favorite character is Cress which comes as a surprise to me because I just recently finished the book. I think that she is underestimated quite often because the greatness of her hacking abilities are sometimes overlooked. I think Cress is my favorite character because she deviates greatly from all the other characters in the series because she is the most clueless and I think this allows for a good character development. I still haven't read Winter, but I hope that Cress's character is developed.

I must admit Cress is my favorite, she was my favorite since her introduction into the series. I relate to her very often and I love her way of getting through difficult situations, imagining she was someone else which is something I often have to do for presentations. She was really endearing and extremely talented but beyond modest about that talent. I thought her love for Throne of all characters was the perfect fit for them both. Her overwhelming sweetness brought the charmingly arrogant pirate to his knees, I just loved it so much, Cress was so wonderful, I loved reading from her perspective.

Scarlet, because she's strong and headstrong just like me. I love it whe I can relate to a character. Also I love her relationship with Wolf.

My favorite character is Cress!!

This is so hard to choose as all the characters have something extra and special that no-one has. Winter is so kind and hilarious in a crazy sort of way. Scarlet was brave and determined. Cinder was an amazing character as she had all this responsibility piled onto her shoulders that no-one her age should be able to carry, yet she did it. She was also so sassy which was a huge plus. Kai was the same as he was one of the youngest in the crew, yet an emperor with really tough decisions to make. Wolf was the sweetest character ever and I just overall loved how he cared for and tried to protect everyone. I loved Jacin's sarcasm and how loyal he was to Winter. Thorne was AWESOME! He made me laugh out loud and cry when I found out that he was broken too.
Overall though, I choose CRESS because I think she was an amazing character. She was so underestimated at the start. Well, until everyone realised that she could ruin their lives in ten minutes if she had wifi. She also went through a big character development. If you read about her in Stars Above, you can see how she has changed and grown confident over the years. Also, she's a cinnamon roll and I was just drawn to the character the first time I read about her.

Scarlet. I relate to her story the most. I love that even with the craziness that happens all she wants to do at the end of the day is go home to her home. She has a bada** personality and a soft spot too.

Thorne, he has such a funny personality and I love how he and Cinder are friends

I can't say just one. I loved all the girls, I thought they were all wonderful. They were strong and brave, all great virtues to have.

PRINCE KAI ALL THE WAYYYYYYY, I KNOW that this is going to be a very unpopular opinion BUT I didn't really like any of the characters except PRINCE KAI. Cinder, Cress, and Scarlet were all a bit stupid for my liking. I read the series for PRINCE KAI!
