Never did the fly know,
The little volant insect,
Of the warty toad
Waiting patiently for him.
And never did the toad know,
The round cold amphibian,
Of the slithering snake
Moving calmly up to him
And never did the snake know,
The long tattooed reptile,
Of the eyeing eagle
Swooping gently up to him.
And never did the eagle know,
The large spanning avian,
Of the predator man
Aiming silently at him.
And never, never did the man know,
The always wise mammal,
Of the treacherous fellow man
Drawing quietly his dagger behind.
