Enjoy and good luck this year. I hope the sub genre thing will add a new twist to things.

I heard about them for a while too. I happened to get it on sale for kindle. For another challenge I needed to read something that took pkace either in the White House or Washington DC, so I thought perfect.

How did you like the Margaret Truman book? That's a series I want to start some time also.
I gave it 3.5 stars. After the murder happens the story is about solving it within the White House. You get an insight on how may work in Washington D.C. It wasn't a bad start to the series. I'm gonna pick up the second one to see how it fits into a series with the first one was written.
For an author that is not well know J.V.L Bell's The Lucky Hat Mine
was a good read. If anyone that likes historical fiction give it a try.

It wasn't what I originally planned to read but I have had it for a while so I thought I would give it a try. I am trying to knock out some that have been on my TBR for a while.
I think my nookbook alone I have over 550 to read. Who knows how nany paperback & kindle books I have. I probably shouldn't buy more but I can't help it. Lol

That looks like a good one...thanks for adding to my tbr pile! ;)

Sounds like you enjoyed this one--I've added it to my to-read stack!
Where are the children? It was published in 1975 but excellent. she also writes a series with her daughter that I like. Regan Reilly Mysteries
