I always keep an eye on new releases of my most read authors but this will be useful other new releases.

Could you have another list for debut authors releasing books as well? Or would that list be too long? Maybe by genre?

Also, does anyone know if there is a group specifically for historical romance?

I like your idea Dorothy about debut authors, but I don't know how we would go about collecting that information - the list as it stands right now is something that the mods collate via fantasticfiction where authors have profiles and you can easily see new releases

Gea, so far this is just a bit of a test to find out if there's enough interest to continue, but assuming we do, we'll be posting our current list of authors and asking for additions, and I don't see any reason why we couldn't add specific new releases to the current list too. We know the list won't be perfect, as Dee said we use fantasticfiction as our source and they don't have every author or every new release out there, but the list of authors is just too long to search multiple sites, and at this point FF has the best combination of amount of data available and ease of use that we've found.

In the meantime though, I'll definitely add your two suggestions to the list...thanks!

A lot of the books you have listed in your library list are on their list. And I'm pretty sure they omitted authors like Patterson because they're focusing on romance novels since this is a romance reading group.

Sorry I didn't get it updated sooner - real life kept interfering. We're still working on a more permanent format, but until we get there I'll at least try to keep this one updated a little more often. :-)

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that we haven't forgotten about this list, I've just had a series of RL interruptions over the last couple of months that have kept me from having the time to do the searches and get the updates done. Things are still a little up in the air right now so I can't say exactly when, but I promise I'll get back to it as soon as things settle down just a bit!
