Rolled 5 landed on S: Bus Stop - Shelves. Rolled 2:1 got 2. Fantasy/Science Fiction and a. dystopian. I don't have one of these on my Bookoply shelf, so I'll pick one from my general TBR. I picked Red Queen (Red Queen, #1) by Victoria Aveyard . Finished 1-4-17

Update 2/25: getting nowhere on Demons so changed to Time After Time. Finished on 2/25.


Rolled 7 on 2/3. Landed on French Cafe (shelves). Rolled 1 and 6 = fiction adventure. I chose A Gathering of Shadows update 80% done on 2/26.

Rolled 6 on 2/3. Landed on Best Friends, request submitted to Marina on 2/3. Her picks for me are Howl's Moving Castle, Our Magnificent Bastard Tongue: The Untold History of English and One of Our Thursdays Is Missing.

Easy level

1. Cover featuring object/s that can be used to keep “Order” (can include police utility belt, uniforms, sirens, etc)

2. Author initials (first & last) found in POLICE OFFICER

3. In absence of Law & Order, chaos will reign. Read an apocalyptic book.

4. Read a mystery/crime book which has been adapted onto screens

5. Read a book with either ‘law’ or ‘order’ in title/subtitle (exact spelling - NO variation allowed)

6. Initial letter of words in title can be found in “PROTECT AND SERVE” (excl. A, An, The and letters can only be used as often as they appear in Protect and Serve)

Moderate level

1. Main character is a Police Officer (as opposed to a detective) OR a Law professional of Civil courts (as opposed to Criminal)

2. Read a book about OR written by a Nobel Peace Prize Laureates

3. Author is / was a law enforcement officer (incl. FBI/ DEA but not CIA - this Wikipedia entry may help)

4. Read a book from one of the following listopias: Best True Crime or Civil Rights & Law: Then and Now

5. Read a book from one of the following listopias: Prison Books or Books for Incarcerated Youth

6. Read a book from one of the following listopias: Substance Abuse & Addiction or Best Transgressive Fiction (being representative causes of crime)

For this level, there will only be a general topic with a little definition to guide you but the rest of the interpretation will be up to your discretion.

Moderate level

1. Colours have opposites too. Read a book in which the opposite colours on the colour wheel are both on the cover. This can be a colour used in the the title, it can be any shade of the colour, and it can be a small detail as long as that it is there it counts. You can read a book with the following colours of the cover:
(1) red & green, (2) purple & yellow, (3) orange & blue

3. Read a book from the shelf Books that made you CRY or the shelf Books that make you LAUGH

6. An antonym is a word opposite in meaning to another. Read a book with antonym titles; the book doesn't have to be on the shelf with antonym titles but you can use it for ideas; Books with Antonym Titles

Hard level

For this we will list several antonyms. You have to find a book that fits both words. These words may refer to cover, setting, or word in title, characters, etc –but completely up to your interpretation.
