Do you agree that Extras is not needed in the the Uglies series?

I don't think that the book is that good. It's not very focused. Everything happens in a split second, and the action is not explained in a interesting way, like the three others. I dunno. Do YOU agree?

i think that the point of having Extras as 'part' of the series was to show that Tally's story continues. we see her going from the girl who wanted surgery to be regular, and then didn't because she saw what was out there and then had no chance but to be pushed further by the powers that be, and then she's there trying to do good again, even if it's in her slightly angry way. i enjoyed it - maybe not as much as parts of the others, but it wasn't bad.

I didn't really like Extras. I really loved Tally's story and all of her adventures and her survival. The fourth book wasn't really necessary, no.

I agree, plus I didn't like how Tally became the woman's "masterpiece" (been a while since I read the book). I like Tally better when all she wanted was to not go through surgery.

Yeah, when it first started I was like, who are you people? Then it said they were in Japan I was like, huh???? It was super confusing. Sorry, but a bad way to end the series. I liked the part that Tally was world famous though :D

I liked Extras. I like when an author finishes a series, I hate being left wondering. It was a nice ending with Tally not wanting any more surgery. She's been through enough. I don't agree that it's not needed.

Extras was totally unnecessary.

No, it wasn't necessary...but that doesn't mean it's bad.

I liked it. I didn't love it, like the first three, but I did like it.

I feel like extras was so different from the rest of the series it kind of threw me off a bit but it was still pretty good.

The first three book in the series were great, but I found extras to be a waste of time. For me, it didn't advance or conclude Tally's story, so I don't see the point in it.
