What were your least favorite books of the Fall 2016 Challenge? Which books didn't meet your expectations?

Laure (goodreadscomlaure) | 562 comments I can decidedly pick one in this category. It was:
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
I fount it difficult to read through the book. The cheap morality and philosophical nonsense the writer couched in mock bible babble was hard to swallow.

Kaity | 358 comments I had two least favorites during the Fall season:

A Tale of Two Cities - Simply not for me.
Exquisite - Ughh. Most obnoxious and mean romance heroine I've read about in a long time. I was rooting for her to end up alone.

A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens Exquisite (Exquisite, #1) by Ella Frank

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) | 3040 comments I really didn't like The Dressmaker by Kate Alcott . I liked that is was about the Titanic and the aftermath but not really what I expected. I also disliked Hallowe'en Party and The Mirror Cracked From Side To Side

Justme | 256 comments I actually liked the Alchemist...perhaps it was written for people who aren't huge bible fans.

I loathed Conversion by Katherine Howe
reading my notes on it...mostly derogatory but not really noteworthy comments...I simply found it useless & torture to read.
